Terms & Conditions

By booking any event, rental, or lesson with Mahjestic Mahjongg, you agree to the
following terms and conditions:

Payment & Booking

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your event, rental, or lesson reservation.

  • All payments are non-refundable.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Once booked, events, rentals, and lessons cannot be canceled or refunded.

  • Rescheduling may be considered on a case-by-case basis, subject to avail schedule or make-up classes.

Attendance & Participation

  • Events, rentals, and lessons are booked for a specified date, time, and number of participants.

  • No refunds or credits will be issued for participants who do not attend with the exception of a medical emergency.

  • For events and rentals, any requests for changes (such as additional guests or extended time) must be made in writing,  in advance and may incur additional fees.

  • For lessons, additional participants may be added at an extra cost, subject to prior approval.

 Event & Rental Specifics

  • Events and rentals are booked for a specified date, time, and number of participants.

Lesson Specifics

  • Lessons will be conducted as described at the time of booking.

  • Any additional instruction outside of the booked session must be arranged separately and may incur additional charges.

Equipment, Materials & Venue

  • A security deposit of 20%, will be required at the time of booking.

  • All rental items (mahjong tiles, racks, NMJL cards, tables, chairs, decorations, and other provided materials) remain the property of Mahjestic Mahjongg.

  • Items must be returned in the same condition in which they were provided. Any damage, loss, or missing items may result in retention of scurity deposit.

  • All materials provided during lessons (e.g., mahjong tiles, racks, NMJL cards) remain the property of Mahjestic Mahjongg, unless otherwise specified.

  • NMJL cards are available for purchase separately for both events/rentals and lessons, with a slight surcharge.

  • For events and rentals, the client is responsible for ensuring the venue is accessible and ready for setup at the agreed-upon time.

  • If Mahjestic Mahjongg is providing décor or setup services for events or rentals, all arrangements will be confirmed prior to the event.

  • Any last-minute location changes or access issues for events or rentals may result in additional fees or rescheduling at the discretion of Mahjestic Mahjongg.

 Liability & Conduct

  • Mahjestic Mahjongg is not responsible for any personal injury, property damage, or loss that may occur during the event, rental period, or lesson.

  • For events and rentals, the client assumes full responsibility for the conduct of all participants and guests. All rentals must be used in a safe and appropriate manner.

  • The rentor is responsible for insurance coverage whether commercial or residential.

  • For lessons, participants are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and adhere to the rules of the game.

Photography & Media

  • By booking or participating in an event, rental, or lesson, you agree that photos or videos taken during the session may be used by Mahjestic Mahjongg for promotional purposes unless otherwise requested in writing.

Disclaimer of Warranties

  • This website is provided “as is” and  “as available”.  We do not guarantee:

  • The site will be uninterrupted or error-free

  • The accuracy or reliability of any content

  • That defects will be corrected

Force Majeure

  • Mahjestic Mahjongg is not liable for cancellations or disruptions due to unforeseen circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, illness, or other emergencies.
     

By booking any service with Mahjestic Mahjongg, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to this website,  at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that violates these terms.
